The lack of PR from Dooley’s camp is becoming more than a blip on the radar. There have been multiple incidents (Victor Society, Alliance of Women Philanthropists and the most recent occurence at the Memphis Touchdown Club) where Coach has decided it was unimportant to speak to coaches and boosters.
These groups of people make up the dog which wags the tail. His ineptitude in circling the wagons with high end donors in absolutely unacceptable. Fulmer, Pearl and Kiffin (for all his faults) were excellent at affording donors the opportunity to get to know them. People give money b/c they love the university and want to feel like they know the coaches.
Bottom line… Dooley is losing in the PR world, losing on the field and losing in the locker room. There are major issues with his tenure here and he’s got a TON to work on.
