Coach Lloyd Carr’s Wolverines were shooting for the 2006 national title and were right on course until their hopes came crashing to earth at season’s end. The hiring of Ron English as defensive coordinator had rejuvenated the Wolverines, who played like a team on a mission. We will learn a lot more about English’s acumen this year, however, with the departures of end LaMarr Woodley, the 2006 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, and tackle Alan Branch from the front four, along with linebackers Prescott Burgess and David Harris and cornerback Leon Hall.

Athlon’s review

College football fans owe Herban Meyer and the Florida Gators a huge “thanks”. Just think: what if Herban had shown some integrity and class and not shamelessly campaigned for the BCS Bowl? What would be more horrible than having watch Michigan and Ohio State play again? That would have really sucked the anal O ring. And to think that Ohio State is better than Michigan…Thanks again Gators for saving us from another suck-ass Big 10 (Brent Musburger just went ’soft’) rematch.

(Are they hittable??? You be the judge)

The Wolverines replaced Vandy with 1-AA Power Appy State on the schedule. Remember that Vandy went to the “Big House” and almost beat the big bad Wolverines. Smart move Lloyd Carr. Whipping Charlie Weis’s fat ass (again) is the best game on this schedule. The almost always present sadsack look of defeat on Charlie’s face is reminiscent of someone taking the last piece bacon at the Shoney’s breakfast bar.

Is Coach Carr on the hot seat? He seems to be a cantankerous old bastard that is always owned by the dapper OSU Coach Jim Tressel. Carr was further embarrassed by the young whippersnapper Herban Meyer, who outmaneuvered Carr in the media for the BCS game.

We hope Michigan get Florida in a Bowl Game. Then again we really hope that Florida gets Illinois in a bowl game instead.

Are the UM cheerleaders hittable? Two, maybe three of them are for sure. The rest of them probably wouldn’t even get into the shitty sororities at SEC schools, except of course, for Arkansas

Screw UM, they suck at everything exspeically football. There cheerleaders are a bunch of little scanks. Also Lloyd Carr just quit because he was too embarressed by losing to OSU again. He said he resigned because he wanted to leave with alot of good memories of UM. Ha, buuull shit. He was just too embarressed.
