Who said that? Nutt (Houston Dale) or Nick Saban? Internet rumors indicate that both of these guys are being interviewed for the now vacant Dallas Cowboy Head Coach job. “Face” it (get it? Face it…look at Jerry, has he had Botox?) Jerry Jones has had luck in the past with college coaches.  Factor in that Jerry Jones is a Hog Alumni and a friend of Frank Broyles.

Did Jerry have some work done to his face? I think that Gary Busey is fighting the ageing process too.

Houston Nutt, the coach of the Cowboys? Can he win the big games? How many moral victories will Jerry Jones like to have in Dallas? I’m sure he’ll take Da Boys straight to the Super Bowl. It’s amazing how these kind of things come up every time Nutt is in trouble. Are these arranged by Jimmy Sexton? Hog Fans tell me that Houston should take Danny Nutt with him. Hog fans also say that Danny Nutt is completely deaf and sounds like  that Johnny Knoxville character from “The Ringer” when he talks. That just doesn’t help with recruiting.

Is this a favor for AD Frank Broyles by his old friend Jerry Jones to take some of the heat off Houston and the AD when half the state is calling for their heads on a platter? Good move Frank Broyles, but it won’t quell the Mustain/Springdale Diva/Malzahn shitstorm .

Nick Saban discusses why he would be an excellent candidate at nicksaban.com Among the reasons besides being the best secondary coach in America and his household goods are still in-transit to his trailer in the ghettos of Tuscaloosa.  He explains his thinking  to the “Lil Bammers”:

Saban might be positioning to draft JaMarcus Russell and Darren McFadden for Jerry Jones.  Maybe he can hire Gus Malzahn to be the Cowboy Offensive Coordinator.

    Lay off. Quit ripping our program. I get upset, too, but I love the Hogs and sometimes we have to put things in perspective. FB and HDN do not want to deal with parents on playing time. I don’t blame them. We’ve all had times where we have felt misled, misunderstood, or flat out lied to. We don’t know everything, just what we read or hear. The Hogs have 23 commitments from kids who WANT to be Razorbacks. Stay negative if you want, but I’m pulling for each and every one of them, including those on the hill now who just brought home an SEC West title. GO HOGS

    HOW exciting!!! We could re-hire Danny Ford or Jack Crowe. Yep, we sure enjoyed those two Head Coaches. Things took a real nose dive when HDN came on the scene (Cotton Bowl win over TEXAS, beating TEXAS in Austin, etc.). Of course, we could (as an NCAA D-1 school who plays in the vaunted SEC) hire a HIGH SCHOOL coach with NO college or NO D-1 or NO SEC experience to serve as our Offensive Coordinator … opps we tried that! And let’s see how bad was it for him (Gus), well he’s now coaching in the college ranks and as an ASSISTANT Coach no less. Yep, seems to have worked out great for him. The Razorbacks on the other hand, not so good. Great loyalty that Gus has?! Hey Houston, ignore the rabble, they hung a guy on the Cross and got that one wrong too!”

    If God does exist he will let this happen. There will be nothing greater than Nutt leaving for Dallas. The Razorbacks would be saved and the Cowboys would be ruined. It doesn’t get any better than that

    I can see why Houston would be considered for the Dallas job, lol. His days at Arkansas have been stellar: 38-36 in SEC play 0-5 vs. GA 0-3 vs. FL 3-6 vs. LSU (0-4 since ’02) 2-4 vs. Tennessee 1-1 vs. Vandy (gust of wind) 2-2 vs. Kentucky (7 OT win w/ MJ) 0-2 in SECCGs 0-2 vs. USC (120 against – 31 for total points) 2-5 in bowl games (0-3 vs. Big Ten) 67-43 overall with 19 wins over the likes of SEMO, Mizzou St., ULM, etc. and 21 wins over the Mississippi Schools, S. Carolina and Vandy. BCS coaches who have not made a BCS game: The current National Record holder is Houston Nutt

    I wouldn’t leave even if the job was offered. The way some of these Arkansas fans have behaved, Nutt should make them buy him out. Although Parcells did leave Big D in pretty decent shape, unlike the first time they talked about this. Problem is, Arkansas’s to close to Dallas, and those same people will try and wreck his success in Dallas also, if for no other reason as to not look like what they’re liars. Secondly, the NFL is no joke, from top to bottom every week, you can lose. I do think Nutt would be a good NFL coach though, 90% of the NFL is getting a team mentally ready to play, they already know how to play, you don’t have to teach anything for the most part, it’s just a matter of getting them ready to play, every week.

    Houston Nutt is one of the few Arkansas football coaches to have a winning record against the Texas Longhorns, who we play again in 2008 and 2009. He is 2-1 against the Horns, and the game we lost Matt Jones fumbled inside the 10-yard line of Texas in the last two minutes of the game.     Excuse me!!!!!!!! All the fuss is just over a college Football coach and team right? I’m glad because I thought at first all the fuss was over relieving poverty, or stopping the genicide in Darfur. You know the less important matters of the world. Gee I wonder if the troops who are giving their lives everyday dwell on this most important issue. As a razorback fan who loves the Team I’m amazed at how angry and bitter people have become. This is worse than the republican and democrat hate. Please God show us what is really important.

    Keep Nutt! How will I continue to boost viewer/listenership if he leaves? Thank God I’m not going to mention our healthy regimen of Mutual-Masturbation sessions… Our? BCamp and I, duh (my pet name…jealous?).
